iNoPLAST and its MCR subsidiary, are developing an SMC deriving from the renewable sources:

  • Resins coming from agro-resources at 100% in replacement of the polyester resins
  • Natural fibers (of hemp type) in replacement of glass fiber
This effort is launched in conjunction with other players from the industry, notably the manufacturers of resins, fibers and research partners (Insa Lyon, INRA, etc) as part of a project called ‘AgRepCo’.
