Incorporated into a global sustainable development policy, the safety policy deployed by iNoPLAST has already bore fruit for the period 2003-2007 with the rate of accidents involving sick leave cut by three.
Our objective for 2010 is a reduction of this frequency rate by four.

The main axes of our safety policy are:
  • Continue the deployment of the Plastic Omnium’s TOP SAFETY training effort, specifically adapted to the Group’s activities, to develop a culture of safety at work and raise the management awareness on risks prevention.
  • Finalize the risk assessments detailed on each site
  • Implement the Safety Management System OHSAS 18001 (this international standard for the area of health and safety at work requires continuous audits, is the equivalent of the ISO 14001 for the Environment and the ISO 9001 for Quality)
  • Continue the improvement of the working conditions (noise, accessibility of the machines, etc).
Additionally, a new industrial organization is about to be deployed : the Total Productive Management.
A real lever for change, this organization facilitates the adoption of new behaviors, from the manager to the operator, and impregnation of a Safety/Environment culture.

iNoPLAST is protecting its personnel safety

In 2007, the rate was halved compared with the 2005 rate
2008 Objective: 29% reduction compared with 2007
