SMC COMPRESSION

There are two stages in the manufacturing of parts in SMC (Sheet Molding Compound):

  • The development of the SMC resulting from the combination of glass fiber and filled resin paste. This product exists in the form of malleable sheets conditioned in rolls.

  • SMC compression by hot press molding, which enables filling the mold by the SMC as well as its cross-linking, etc.
The materials produced allow the realization of different applications:
- SMC Low Profile class A: designed for the body parts;
- SMC FAC (Flexible, low density and conductive): front fenders
- SMC Flexible: under engine casings
- SMC Semi Structural: designed for the parts requiring good mechanical performance (front fenders, floors, etc)


AMC INJECTION-COMPRESSION

The AMC (or BMC) material exists in the form of fibers conditioned in drums.

The presses are fed through the hopper.

Molding is realized with the iNoROC (iNoPLAST patent) process: The material is injected without screw, in 1 or more gates and jack is used for feeding.

The materials produced allow the realization of different applications:
- AMC Semi Structural: for cut-out parts that require good mechanical performance (front ends, etc);
- AMC Low profile: tailgates;
- BMC Low Profile with or without recycling for the hidden parts (absorbers, reinforcements, etc);
